If you are dedicated to the safety, security, protection, and stability of children within our county, apply today to become a part of our team DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerk Typist, you will be responsible for accurately preparing a variety of documents, reports, correspondences, and other material from rough draft or hard copies. Work includes maintaining lists of children placed within the agency, preparing records for Section 8 transfers, as well as maintaining lists of case assignments and police reports. You will have the opportunity to serve as a receptionist with a primary goal of delivering excellent customer service by greeting and directing visitors, answering incoming calls, providing general information, and assisting with maintaining a peaceful and harmonious environment. This position falls under the general supervision of the Administrative Assistant 2 and Clerical Supervisor. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or Any combination of equivalent experience and training.
