Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist clients, verifying personal information and insurance details
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinicians' calendars efficiently
  • Process payments, including co-payments and insurance claims
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using Electronic Medical Records systems
  • Handle phone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments
  • Manage appointment changes, cancellations, and no-shows according to established procedures
  • Coordinate client referrals and verify eligibility for services
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth office operations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service monitoring programs
  • Handle potentially stressful client encounters with professionalism and empathy
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
Additional Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Proficiency in multitasking and working as part of a team
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient typing skills and ability to work with computers and various software applications
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the assigned work location
  • Must successfully complete a background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
