Job DetailsJob LocationSan Francisco 2 - San Francisco, CASalary Range$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary/yearDo you aspire to a career in wealth management, providing holistic investment and planning services? If yes, we believe you would be an outstanding fit as a Client Assistant on our team.Primary ResponsibilitiesAs a Client Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Client Services Team, Wealth Managers and Partnersas directed. This may also include direct client contact on occasion.
  • Prepare account applications and other custodian paperwork for clients.
  • Assist with client cashiering needs such as wires, checks, Moneylinks, etc.
  • Compile client materials, reports, and presentations. (i.e., Annual reviews)
  • File and / or scan client documents.
  • Prepare paperwork, checks, and other materials for sending to custodians
  • Create client files both paper based and electronic.
  • Maintain contact information in the CRM, setting up prospects, clients, COis and other relationships.
  • Develop working knowledge of firm systems, including portfolio reporting software and the CRM.
  • May be asked to assist with data entry and maintenance of internal reports.
  • Provide Notary Public services to clients, if applicable.
  • Provide backup reception and phone coverage.
  • Help with special projects and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrate professional, ethical, and courteous conduct in responsibilities and dealings with clients, prospects, COis, Cerity Partners colleagues, and other business entities with which Cerity Partners has a relationship. This includes compliance with legal, professional, and established firm standards of conduct. Uphold the Cerity Partners values as work is performed.
Ideal Candidate
  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience required.
  • Series 65 preferred / required within first year of employment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interest in the wealth management industry.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the firm and with custodians.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems.
  • Interest in growing and developing his/her skills.
  • Self-starter who can be equally effective and productive working from home or a Cerity Partners office as needed.
  • Possess Notary Public Commission or obtain within six months of hiring.
