JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Client Director with a proven track record in technology services sales. The Client Director will be the primary relationship holder for an Apex Top Account and will drive strategic growth in that account. Position involves client relationship building, executive level communications/presentations, reviewing and monitoring quality of client deliverables, supervising engagement and support teams, scoping, and estimating new engagements, and evaluation of business needs.
Develop Business: Achieve Revenue and Margin Growth Goals
* Develop and maintain relationships across the account and partner with client stakeholders to understand client needs and opportunities within multiple areas of the client business to empower them to achieve greater success through their partnership with Apex.
* Collaborate closely with Industry and Solutions leadership to set and achieve revenue growth goals through developing and executing a strategy for account saturation.
* Collaborate closely with Industry and Solutions leadership to set and achieve margin growth goals through strategic growth in IT Services sales.
* Propose, scope and secure new business at the client through strong working relationships with Solutions leadership, the Consulting practice, and the Engagement Delivery practice.
Manage the Business: IT Services Engagement Delivery Oversight & Escalations
* IT Services engagement delivery oversight & escalations. Ensure client satisfaction and engagement delivery success and mitigate engagement risk through engagement oversight and escalations.
* Provide strong leadership for Apex's cross-functional internal teams from across solution capabilities, consulting practice, staffing, engagement delivery and billing and collections to collaborate closely in order to achieve success for Apex and the client.
* Engagement Oversight: Review and approve engagement financials, budgets, forecasts, and estimates at completion, and monitor/resolve any budget overruns/shortfalls
* Risk Mitigation: Review and monitor SOWs and Contracts prior to signature to ensure adequate protections against risk.
* Ensure Apex staffing and services compliance with internal processes and client requirements related to billing, placements, and compliance.
* Accept full responsibility for client/contract matters. Collaborate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders to manage risk and maximize profitability.
Support the Business
* Leveraging your extensive experience, develop the skills and capacity of your fellow Apex team members. Share information freely. Contribute to the development and evolution of Apex as an IT Services Provider by establishing best practices, launching innovations and/or developing reusable Intellectual Property.
* Collaborate with internal finance and accounting teams to ensure proper client billing and collections.
* Collaborate with internal HR and legal teams to ensure proper compliance and adherence in matters of contracts, risk, and employment law.
* Collaborate closely with performance managers for internal and CE resources to drive employee performance, address performance deficiencies, develop employee skills and abilities and drive successful team performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems, MBA preferred
* 4+ years of experience in IT services sales
* Travel up to 30%, typically for client meetings and on-sites
* Experience managing people and projects, setting priorities, solving complex problems, and selling in a consultative role. Experience with resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Strong technical proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and project/program management software tools. Must be a quick learner, able to learn and leverage new systems and applications rapidly.
* Ability to effectively negotiate and manage conflict; Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables at once
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills required including presentation skills and executive presence.
* Results-oriented with a high sense of urgency to meet client requirements.
* Successful track record of cross-functional collaboration and leadership.
