  • Assist the direct team manager with all onboarding activities.
  • Oversee dailyonboarding requests across all the clients divisions.
    • Coordinate the full onboarding process from start to finish.
    • Prepare KYC packages and conduct due diligence on new clients, ensuring compliance with risk ratings, FinCen guidelines, and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) protocols.
    • Perform OFAC and Negative News screening on clients and associated parties to identify and evaluate any potential risks to the organization.
  • Effectively prioritize onboarding cases to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate directly with Front Office teams and clients.
  • Comply with internal audit requirements and standards.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Determine appropriate industry codes (e.g., SIC/Sector Codes).
  • Familiar with Investment Advisor Public Disclosure and EDGAR databases, as well as essential documentation (e.g., RIA, QIB, 2111 forms, AML Wolfsberg Questionnaire, Accelerated Onboarding Sheets, and 151 Prime Broker Agreements).
  • Possess knowledge of hedge funds, private equity funds, SPVs, CLOs, and mutual funds.
  • Understand the organizational structure of Investment Advisors and determine when full KYC onboarding is necessary versus when a streamlined process is sufficient.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, Sanctions, Regulatory, Tax, and Operations.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3-5 years of financial services experience
  • End-to-end client onboarding experience
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Appropriate and confidential handling of client data.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Available for work and can come into NYC 2 days a week
