General Description: The Client Relations Coordinator will work with the Client Relations Manager - Private Equity and assigned partners to assist with developing new business and expanding client relationships. The role's initial focus will be on supporting the implementation of the strategic planning processes and ensuring successful execution of the client development and BD strategy for the Corporate practice. The role requires a proactive self-starter who works in collaboration with various partners and business professionals around the firm to help Holland & Knight lawyers build business and enhance client relations. The position also entails assistance with event management as a member of the CRO team (including conference attendance, research, and post conference action items to ensure maximum ROI); coordination along marketing department projects for the PE practice; preparation of practice development and collateral materials; and assistance with internal and external communications. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Supporting the Client Relations Manager - PE organize and drive planning as well as administrative oversight of the Private Equity Steering Committee and its subcommittees, regional initiatives, bi-monthly PE meetings, and other key program meetings.
- Participating on client development calls when requested by partners and CRO management; contributing ideas, handling competitor research, and facilitating follow-up; contributing to excellent client service under the direction of relevant partners.
- Researching new and existing targets, COIs, events and conferences, and additional data points that are relevant to increasing the pipeline for the PE practice.
- When requested by partners, Client Relations Director - PE, and/or Chief Client Relations & Opportunities Officer, helping to identify, plan and/or take part in external conferences and events in accordance with the firm's budgetary/other guidelines.
- Identifying and handling submission processes for the publications and surveys that will help the partners with their business development efforts, profile-raising, and opportunity-spotting activities.
- In coordination with Marketing, supporting the CRO PE team authoring materials needed for partners, laterals, and the Corporate/PE initiatives. Preparing targeted materials, including proposals and presentations.
- Administrative oversight of the reporting funnel, including working with the core CRO systems (e.g. KPI's - leads, introductions, interactions, follow-up actions, HK Deal Flow℠ targets, and PE targets.)
- Ensuring data management and tracking processes, including referrals and/or opportunities going to and coming from other internal business development teams are handled in a timely manner (e.g., EC/VC).
- Collaborating with Marketing and other professional development teams on:
- Monitoring market developments to ensure efforts are well aligned with the industry.
- Drafting and implementing procedures around conferences, events, and sponsorships that ensure coordination between the CRO team and its marketing support network.
- Assisting with marketing-related needs as requested or required in a back-up capacity.
- Driving effective project management discipline and communications of the CRO team's initiatives throughout the lifecycle of ideation, to business case development, execution and operationalizing; taking ownership from inception through implementation.
- Liaising with other key stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Proposing changes to the existing processes where additional efficiencies can be met.
- Special project and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Education: - Bachelor's degree in business, communications, economics, English, finance, political science or related field.
- 2-4 years in professional services (preferably legal).
- Available for occasional business travel.
Preferred Qualifications & Education: Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
