Home Care Powered by AUAF is a fast growing non-profit organization providing non-medical in-home care services to seniors for over 30 years. Our involvement in the Community Care Program offers our clients a cost-effective alternative to nursing home placement. It also allows our clients to provide home care from their families or people they already know.
About the Position
The Client Relations Associate is the face of the agency. The associate greets guests, assists clients and caregivers at the office, and processes employee enrollment paperwork, all while exhibiting superior customer service. This position reports to the Client Relations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Prepare new client referral files and sending them to the referral agencies
- Schedule and complete caregiver application appointments, including:
- Providing the application
- Copying documents
- Assisting them with any questions
- Review application files for completeness
- Run background checks and provide fingerprint clearance forms
- Update applicant files in our electronic filing systems
- Run annual employee background checks
- Communicate applicant status to other departments
- Follow up with applicants that have not completed their file or submitted fingerprint results
- Update department spreadsheets tracking referrals and applicants
- Coordinate with branch offices to ensure work is completed on time
- Cover the front desk/reception as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Pass state required background checks
Preferred
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of health care/home care industry
Training
- Complete IDoA required Homecare Supervisor Training (HOST) within 90 days of employment
- Complete 24 hours of in-service training on aging related subjects within each calendar year
- Complete additional training as assigned by AUAF management

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent customer service

- Ability to keep client, caregiver, and AUAF information confidential
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 10lbs
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Operate office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, phone, computer)
- Extended periods of time on the phone, typing, and reading on a computer screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
