Client Service Associate - First Busey Corporation : Job Details

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Client Service Associate is responsible for assisting the Financial Advisor and servicing clients with a full line of investment products, including mutual funds, annuities, equities, and fixed income securities in a financial planning setting.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

* Assist Busey Wealth Management in meeting the goals and objectives of the organization utilizing the Wealth Advisory program.

* Prepare letters, forms, and reviews to assist with servicing existing clients and prospecting for new clients.

* Respond to client correspondence and interact daily on the phone or in person with prospective and existing clients.

* Handle financial operational issues that might occur with statements and transactions.

* Process incoming correspondence, checks, mail, and email.

* Review daily reports from Raymond James Financial Services and take necessary actions.

* Forward all account information to home office for approval and scanning.

* Prepare advisor with necessary paperwork prior to client appointments.

* Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM).

* Assist with regional activities when requested.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Strong organizational skills

* Strong analytical skills

Ability:

* Multi-task and work independently

* Solve problems independently while applying logic and discretion

* Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures

Education and Training

* Obtaining of Series 7 & 66 license encouraged within a year of hire.

* Computer skills adequate for working with investment software.

* Must be in good standing with Regulatory and Firm Element continuing education.

* Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
