Overview:

We are seeking a Commercial Service Associate to support our Client Service team in handling assigned accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing crucial processes that cater to our clients, including those with complex needs. You will engage in internal activities associated with these processes.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Assist Senior Client Service Manager or Client Service Executive with day-to-day coverage tasks and projects.
  • Maintain positive and effective relationships with clients and independently handle moderately complex tasks.
  • Assist in assembling and creating submissions as needed. Facilitate the timely and accurate exchange of information between the client and account team members.
  • Manage client open items lists and respond to ad-hoc client requests. Collect and analyze data.
  • Actively support and monitor the renewal process, including drafting quote comparisons and following up on binders, policies, and endorsements.
  • Act as the main point of contact when necessary, coordinating with the client service team to ensure efficient performance and high-quality deliverables.
  • Handle routine and complex coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serve as the primary liaison for clients regarding certificates, auto IDs, and location additions.
  • Monitor and follow up on invoice generation and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Strong technical property and casualty knowledge.
  • Background in account management, servicing, placement, and negotiation of property and casualty coverages.
  • Ability to solve problems and think independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail while working under pressure.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor, and control workflow, with close attention to deadlines.
  • Be energetic/have a sense of urgency.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
About you:
  • Current Property and Casualty License.
  • High School degree/GED with 1+ year client service and/or claims management experience - OR - Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
  • Commercial (property/casualty) insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships.
  • Solid financial acumen.
