Client service associate needed for a busy financial advisor located in Athens, Ohio.Job Summary:This essential role helps to provide high quality administrative support to Financial Advisors, their prospective and existing clients and other team members. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills as well as the ability to organize, manage, and track multiple, detailed tasks with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to service a high volume of daily interactions for prospective and existing clients. Manage client inquiries where possible and advise the Financial Advisor of action taken.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as correspondence, filing, and scheduling meetings for financial advisors.
  • Prepare for client meetings, which includes managing prospect pipeline, proposal generation, preparing new account paperwork, opening accounts, transferring new assets, and establishing an ongoing communication/service plan.
  • Review, assess, and respond to corporate action items and client account alerts.
  • Ensure client information and documentation is current with firm and industry requirements, rules, and regulations.
  • Proactively review available cash awaiting investment, including running weekly cash and cash equivalent reports, and notify the Financial Advisor of investment opportunities to maximize returns.
  • Gain knowledge of and leverage partnership with Raymond James Corporate Resource Groups to provide the best wealth management solutions to clients.
  • Utilize Client Relationship Management (CRM) software with the goal of improving client service and enhancing business efficiency.
  • Actively engage in available educational training and/or professional development opportunities to remain current on firm and industry policies and procedures.
This is a permanent (direct-hire) full-time position. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but flexibility might be needed for projects and/or events. Pay is competitive, benefits are available.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
  • Active SIE license or willingness to obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing a high level of service.
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple, detailed tasks with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Take initiative and proactively identify time sensitive items and assess competing priorities.
