The Client Service Associate is an integralmember of the Strategy Advisor team, helping to advance The Colony Group's commitment to providingan exceptional experience for every client. The Client Service Associate provides accountsupport services, including onboarding, account maintenance, distributions, andportfolio accounting and reporting. Primary responsibilities for this position include:Client Onboarding
- Collaborate with Strategy Advisors to onboard new clients.
- Prepare new account forms (digital and paper) needed to establish new accounts.
- Process account transfers including monitoring and following up on progress.
- Prepare reports that summarize account transfers in process.
- Add new clients to Salesforce CRM. Ensure that all data is complete and accurate.
- Establish reporting groups and full set up in portfolio management system.
- Create client file folder system and ensure that all documents are properly scanned and filed. Establish client portal access.
Client AccountMaintenance and Reporting
- Collaborate with Strategy Advisors to process account registration changes and other account feature updates.
- Review custodial alerts and distribute tasks to the team for follow up.
- Establish and maintain accurate client reporting groups.
Client ExperienceSupport
- Assist clients with basic account issues.
- Schedule client meetings.
- Support Front Desk Associate with standard coverage needs directed by Human Capital.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure, work independently, and work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with common portfolio management systems (Tamarac, Axys, Orion) and CRM (Salesforce) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, and an ability to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
