Stonebridge Financial Partners, LLC,a growing wealth management firm, is seeking a Client Service Associate to assist us in our mission of helping clients achieve their financial goals. This role combines client facing and some operational support functions to ensure that all client needs are handled timely and precisely. This role works closely alongside our wealth advisor and team in Grand Rapids, MI. Responsibilities & Activities

Under the direction of the assigned Wealth Advisor, the Client Service Associate is responsible for ensuring a high level of client service and client satisfaction. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Stonebridge Wealth Advisor(s) to prepare for all client meetings, participate in (and lead portions of) those client meetings, and follow through post meeting with notes and action items;
  • Process client contributions or distributions;
  • Schedule client meetings as needed;
  • Provide back up support to Ops Hub (Prepping paperwork and processing checks);
  • Wherever possible function as the clients first point of contact at Stonebridge to address client requests or issues, or engage the assigned Wealth Advisor to ensure client requests are completed in a timely manner;
  • Utilize software programs to prepare comprehensive financial plans, asset allocation plans, insurance and research requests and/or recommendations;
  • Prepare material for client meetings;
  • Support Wealth Advisors in planning and preparation for prospective new client proposals;
  • Challenge Wealth Advisors and firm leadership with opportunities and ideas to improve client service, process improvements or team efficiency;
  • Contribute to achievement of team goals and objectives;

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in a finance related field from an accredited institution;
  • Desire to begin industry licensing (Series 7, Series 66, etc.) within 12-18 months of employment;
  • Minimum 2 years related experience with an investment management/advisory firm;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident ability to engage with clients and prospective; clients;
  • Detail orientation with excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to build financial plans grounded in fundamental financial disciplines;
  • Knowledge of and, more importantly, curiosity to learn financial markets and investment securities;
  • Ability to multi-task in a smaller team environment;
  • Demonstrated client service orientation;

Helpful but not required

  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, Orion)
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., WealthBox)
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 or similar license
