Overview UW Credit Union is hiring a Client Services Associate II to join our Wealth Management team in Madison at our 3750 University Avenue location! As a Client Services Associate II, you will provide exceptional service to members by promoting and supporting the Wealth Management program, conducting sales interactions, and ensuring accurate and timely transactions. You will work closely with Financial Consultants to enhance the client experience while leveraging your expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to fulfill sales and service commitments. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will be key in delivering high-quality financial service and support. Responsibilities What Youll Do Collaborate with Financial Consultants to provide customized support for clients, ensuring a high level of service tailored to their financial needs. Engage in proactive sales activities, profiling members for cross-sell opportunities, insurance products, and financial planning solutions. Independently meet with clients to review accounts, answer questions, and provide guidance, particularly for lower-asset (C) clients. Utilize Wealth Management tools and technologies such as CRM, Morningstar, and MoneyGuidePro to assess client needs and support financial strategies. Create member presentations and support financial education events, assisting in delivering financial literacy sessions to clients and the public. Stay current with industry knowledge by participating in sales meetings, continuing education sessions, and maintaining required certifications. Provide personalized, professional service to members, consistently seeking opportunities to exceed expectations and enhance the client experience. Perform Lobby Management duties in Wealth Management hubs, greeting members courteously and ensuring access control as needed. Coordinate and resolve service-related issues for securities products, working with internal partners to prevent business loss and keep all parties informed. Handle daily administrative tasks, including managing referral tracking, processing documents, and overseeing commission and issue tracking to ensure smooth operations. Serve as a mentor and trainer, providing guidance and feedback to Client Services Associates and Retail staff to improve performance and promote growth within the team. Assist in assessing and implementing new technologies to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and quality while also stepping into flexible roles as needed to support team operations. Qualifications What Youll Need to Succeed 2+ years of experience within wealth management in a sales or support capacity Licensed in the following: WI Insurance Life & Health License Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) FINRA Series 7 FINRA Series 66 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and team members both verbally and in writing. Proven industry knowledge and problem-solving ability, capable of addressing complex issues independently and within a team. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and efficient, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experienced with contact management systems, alongside exceptional telephone etiquette.
