Butler Veterinary Associates and Emergency Center is seeking a full-time receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary office or similar environment.

* Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with some Saturdays as needed.

* Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

* Must have the ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision.

* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other staff members.

* Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

* Answer phones and schedule appointments for our practice.

* Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, medications, etc.

* Handle incoming calls and follow up calls in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.

* Greet patients when entering or leaving the office and answer any questions they may have regarding our practice or services offered.

* Communicate effectively with insurance companies while maintaining confidentiality.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

* Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
