Our client, a human capital consulting company specializing in organizational health and business readiness, is searching for a Sales Consultant. This is a full time opportunity. The qualified candidate will lead sales activities that foster company-wide growth. This key externally-facing role will partner closely with the Founder and CEO to evangelize and educate the market and potential clients on the offered solutions and close new business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Sales and Client RelationshipsIdentify, track and nurture prospective client relationships throughout the lifecycle to ensure they get the best experience with our organization at all stages.Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using CRM tools.Update target account diverse supplier portals with key company data.Respond to relevant RFIs and RFPs with support from the Founder and CEO.Implement and Execute Sales ProcessesEstablish a strong, disciplined sales system to ensure consistent and reliable progress towards targets.Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, with a focus on building relationships and creating tailored solutions for client needs.Market Awareness and Lead GenerationStrategize on creative ways to increase market awareness and mission to ensure prospects know when and why to engage.Represent the company at conferences and industry events.Provide market feedback to Founder and CEO to guide product updates and development.Messaging and Content DevelopmentRefine and iterate on our messaging based on client feedback and market response to identify what resonates best.Create and share educational assets that demonstrate the value and benefits of company's solutions.Host prospect events to identify client pain points and showcase offerings.Market InsightsStay informed of industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities, providing actionable insights to the leadership team.CapabilitiesStrong ability to manage complex negotiations and build consensus among multiple stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in one-to-one and large group settings.Strong commercial acumen with ability to connect business challenges to product/service solutions.Self-driven and able to work independently to achieve sales goals.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Strong planning and organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations tailored to client needs.Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.Active listening skills to support collaboration with prospects, clients and internal team.Proficient in HubSpot CRM, G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Asana or similar tech stacks.REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of enterprise sales, customer success or client management experience, preferably in the human capital consulting, professional development, or professional services industry.Proven track record of successfully closing large, complex deals with enterprise clients.Experience navigating long sales cycles and engaging with senior-level stakeholders.Experience working in a start-up environment is preferred.Travel: Local, regional or national travel is possible.
