DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The#Clinic Float RN#is responsible#to provide#excellent nursing care#at#all Morris Hospital healthcare centers as needed.# They will#ensure the patient#s right to privacy and confidentiality as well as maintain competency and exercise sound judgment.#He/she may be responsible to handle emergency situations, and serve as a nursing resource to other clinical staff.# The Clinic Float RN will participate in monitoring the quality of service assuring that standards are being met to comply with safety, public health, OSHA, and HFAP regulations. # QUALIFICATIONS Professional/Educational Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license with biennial renewal. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Experience in Ambulatory Care Clinics. ACLS preferred, or maintain 6 months from date of hire. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. # Personal Computer knowledge. Ability to teach and direct other office personnel. Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Possesses the ability to work under pressure. Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
