Opportunity for Career Growth-on the job training to obtain your Medical Assistant Certification, receive 2% pay increase when classwork is completed and an additional 2% increase when testing completed, and certification obtained!GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.

Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.

Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification through AHA preferred or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR's), within 30 days of hire.

Skills:

• Previous Ambulatory Clinic or Certified Nurse Aide, or Medical Assistant, or similar experience is required.

• $20.41 to $30.02/hour (MA Clinic)
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
• Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference between PCT (experience only)/CNA/MA
