Block Institute's Article 16 Clinic is devoted to facilitating habilitative growth of individuals who are cognitively, physically, emotionally, and/or developmentally disabled. Our professional service team executes a whole person approach, providing consideration of all facts in a person's life, developing specialized treatment planning based on individual needs. Following a comprehensive evaluation of diagnosis impacting skills and abilities, we offer a full range of clinical services. Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, consultation and guidance with regard to physical therapy services provided.
• Conduct evaluations and develop appropriate therapeutic programs in response to individual need.
• Develop appropriate physical therapy program protocols in response to identified needs in accordance with clinic operations.
• Maintain a minimum caseload of physical therapy service recipients.
• Monitor and record progress of each service recipient's treatment. Monitoring will be done as required by OPWDD regulations and/or Agency policy.
• Participate as a member of the clinic's quality assurance team in conducting chart reviews and other internal monitoring activities to ensure quality of care and compliance with regulatory and agency policies and practices.
• Provide training in implementation of physical therapy services/goals.
