Nature and ScopeThe position encompasses care of patients from intake through checkout. Provides assistance to the physician or advanced practice provider, telephone triage, chart organization, care of equipment, and care of the environment. Provides professional nursing skills in an outpatient clinic setting, emphasizing disease prevention and health maintenance. Works closely with the clinical staff, front office staff and other related departments to support the patient and family needs.
