JOB SUMMARY
ADOM Academy of Diagnostic and Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Acquisition Specialist to develop, secure, and maintain clinical site partnerships. This role ensures students have access to high-quality clinical education opportunities by collaborating with healthcare facilities, managing clinical agreements, and serving as the primary liaison between ADOM and its clinical affiliates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Site Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and secure clinical sites that align with ADOM's curriculum and student requirements.
- Establish relationships with hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers to ensure adequate placement opportunities in the Danbury, CT, and Worcester, MA areas.
Partnership Management:
- Negotiate and formalize clinical agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clinical sites to address concerns, renew agreements, and expand opportunities.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with program directors and faculty to identify clinical placement needs and ensure alignment with program goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical sites, managing all communication and resolving issues as they arise.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all clinical agreements, contracts, are up-to-date and legally compliant.
- Maintain accurate records of clinical site assignments, student placements, and site evaluations.
Student Support:
- Assist with the placement of students in clinical rotations, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Address feedback from students and clinical site supervisors to continuously improve the clinical experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in diagnostic medical sonography, vascular technology, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical coordination, site acquisition, or healthcare partnership development.
- Familiarity with diagnostic medical sonography and clinical education settings is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of clinical site requirements, accreditation standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
