Clinical Assistant Float - ChenMed : Job Details

• Measure and record patient vital signs, interview, and medical history
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with exams
• Perform non-critical medical and therapeutic procedures based on medical instructions
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and sterilize instruments
• Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate and partner with team members, including physicians, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a hospital, medical clinic, or comparable environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within first 90 days of employment
