Our specialized care teams provide personalized, compassionate, expert care to patients of all ages. Informed by basic research done at our Sloan Kettering Institute, scientists across MSK collaborate to conduct innovative translational and clinical research that is driving a revolution in our understanding of cancer as a disease and improving the ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat it. MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe.

Job Description:

Are you ready for the next step in your career? We might have the perfect opportunity for you at MSK! The Clinical Computational Diagnostics Services is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager.

The Clinical Computational Diagnostics Service in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine houses the coordinated scientific, informatics, and administrative personnel who develop, validate, and clinically deploy an expanded set of innovative diagnostic tests in partnership with the clinical laboratories and faculty within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Two of the best-in-class tests we have developed are MSK-IMPACT and MSK-ACCESS. MSK-IMPACT has been authorized by the US Food & Drug Administration as a clinical test and has been used to profile tumor and normal DNA samples from more than 90,000 MSK patients as part of clinical care. “Liquid biopsy” applications such as MSK-ACCESS examine circulating cell-free DNA to enable genomic characterization of cancers where genomic tissue is not available and permits longitudinal monitoring of disease burden. These tests produce large quantities of data requiring specialized computational expertise to analyze and provide the foundation for translational research, clinical trials, and patient care at MSK.

We are looking for an outstanding manager to support the overall operations of the service as a Manager, Hospital Operations:

  • Report to the Associate Director and lead the operational, human and information resource functions within the service.
