The Children's Home of KingstonNOW HIRINGClinical DirectorWe have a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a dynamic, innovative, self-starting, and compassionate individual with a social work or psychology background to assume the position of clinical director in an integrative program that works with three government oversites: OCFS, SED, and ORR. These unique programs are dedicated to addressing the needs of children who have gone through traumatic experiences in their lives. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for:Review and approve all required medical and behavioral health forms.Meet and communicate with families of origin, guardians, foster families, and caseworkersSupervise medical and behavioral health staff according to scope of practice.Assure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including those of NYSED, when necessaryOversees all regularly scheduled treatment team meetings related to youth progress in careCoordinates with the consulting psychiatrist to ensure high-quality diagnostic services on a timely basisEmergency medical and behavioral health consultation servicesUtilizes interventions drawn from evidence-based psychotherapeutic Requirement:Licensed Clinical Social Worker, marriage and family therapist or mental health counselor, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician/PsychiatristMinimum 5 years of previous experience working with children and familiesFamiliarity with OCFS and Justice Center Regulations preferredPrevious supervisory experiencePrevious experience in the medical or mental health field is preferred
