Schedule: 0.8 FTE- (64 hours per pay period) Monday-Friday based on training schedule needs. 0.4 FTE will be for ACLS/PALS Coordinator 0.4 FTE will be for Situational Awareness 3 & MOAB What You Can Expect: The Clinical Educator is responsible for coordination and teaching AHA classes (ACLS, PALS, HC, BLS) for clinical personnel. Provides clinical evaluation to clinical staff and facilitates evidence-based research within a specialized area. Schedule is flexible between teaching classes and coordination, able to work from home when not teaching. Minimal travel required. (Willing to consider CE level 1 - CE Level 3 based on experience and education required for CE position) + Supports standardization of the AHA curriculum across the St. Luke's Health System. + Evaluates effectiveness and outcomes of educational initiatives. + Acts as a facilitator, consultant, and leader in area of expertise. + Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. + Onboards and develops new instructors. + Provides education consistent with current protocols, procedures, evidence, and Magnet (as appropriate). + Devises and maintains strategies to ensure professional development. + Develops education to meet regulatory standards and all related policies, procedures, and guidelines. + Responsible for forecasting and planning instructor and room resources. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) or Masters Degree + Experience: 2+ years related experience + Licenses/Certifications: RN Licensure in the State of Practice + Willing to consider a CE, CE2, or CE3 based on experience and education.
