SUMMARY
Provide tier 2 support for the Electronic Health Record (EHR), Practice Management System (PM), and other associated clinical information systems. Aid with ongoing testing, implementation and optimization of the Health Record, Practice Management, and other clinical information systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collaborate in the ongoing implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Health Record, Practice Management, and associated clinical information systems, including end user support, vendor management, project management.
* Respond to support tickets; provide support, resolution, and recommendations to end users/IT support staff.
* Escalate issues occurring in the Health Record, Practice Management, or any other clinical information systems to the appropriate team members.
* Assist with Clinical Information Systems Maintenance including but not limited to: (1) Creating and maintaining user accounts. (2) Investigate and prepare duplicate charts to merge. (3) Maintaining ICD10, CPT, HCPCS, SIM, and NDC codes. (4) Maintaining pharmacy information. (5) Maintaining service items codes and service categories. (6) Maintaining the lab vendor test compendium. (7) Create and Maintain provider and template defaults. (8) Aids in maintaining Data Integrity of the Health Record, Practice Management, and Document (9) Management applications. (10) Uploads medical records sent electronically or by disc from outside healthcare facilities. (11) Maintaining a Vaccine Inventory Platform.
* Provide feedback to the Clinical Information Systems Administrator on workflow observations.
* Interface with clinical trainers to assist with on-going data collection and evaluation of training needs.
* Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements, initiatives, and best practices for Patient Centered Medical Home, and UDS.
* Participate in the configuration and deployment of new clinical information systems and enhancements to existing applications.
* Serve as a Clinical Information Systems Super User to provide training, guidance, and direction to other users.
* Assist with monitoring Clinical Information Systems such as: Interfaces, E-prescribing, Patient Portal Platform, Patient Intake Platform, Referral Management Platform, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
* Two-year Associate Degree: two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A degree or experience in a Healthcare or IT related field is a plus.
* Knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Record and Practice Management software application is plus.
* Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center environment is a plus.
* Knowledge and experience with Ambulatory Clinic operational workflows are a plus.
