Clinical Laboratory TechnologistHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to fill an opening with a top-rated healthcare employer dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes and delivering compassionate, high-quality experiences to patients in Williamsville, NY.Daily Responsibilities for Clinical Laboratory Technologist:

• Outpatient Clinic
• Responsible for performing specialized technical analyses of blood specimens, leading to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and using independent judgment in the performance of standard operating procedures and complex instrumentation
• Responsibility also involves ensuring the receipt, recording, routing, and labeling of specimens and communicating test results to the attending physician
• Assists with performing laboratory quality control, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance activities; maintains laboratory supply inventories and processes requests for supply orders; training new employees. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm - No weekends or evenings

Required Qualifications for Clinical Laboratory Technologist:

• B.S. Medical Technology or related discipline required
• At least one year of clinical laboratory training at an accredited lab
• Experience with operating analyzers, blood smear microscopy
• Experience with EMR software
• Must have valid NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist limited permit or full NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license reflected within the NYS Office of Professions
