Clinical Nurse I - ENCOMPASS HEALTH : Job Details

The Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care to inpatients. This position involves assessing patients and creating individualized care plans reflective of each patient's needs and goals. The Clinical Nurse will also supervise activities of care, treatment, and services provided by other staff on the assigned unit and shift. Communication with the interdisciplinary team and reporting patient concerns and changes in condition in a timely manner is a crucial aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• CRRN certification preferred

Machines, Equipment Used

• General office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc.
• Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Physical Requirements

• Visual acuity, speech recognition, speech clarity
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds, including medical supplies and equipment, and transferring and repositioning patients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when exceeding these requirements.
