Clinical Nurse - Progressive Care - TotalMed Staffing : Job Details

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our Progressive Care team in Plattsburgh, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for patients in the Step Down Unit, monitoring their condition, and providing them with appropriate medical interventions. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a compassionate attitude towards patients.

Key responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patient vital signs and condition
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Valid RN license
• Previous experience in a Progressive Care or Step Down Unit
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
