Job Type: Full-time / Non-Exempt
(Mon-Friday: 4 days from 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. One early day scheduled off at 2 pm.)

Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides comprehensive healthcare services-including medical, dental, mental health, and pharmacy care-to residents of Muskegon County. HCC is looking for a highly self-motivated individual with exceptional phone and clinical skills.
Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Clinical Phone Specialist functions using a team-based approach as a member of the Integrated Care Team and is the patient's first line contact with the medical staff when they call with a concern or question.

Job Qualifications and Special Skills include:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Graduation from an accredited medical assistant or nursing training program required.
* Current, active, and in-good-standing Medical Assistant certification or LPN licensure in the State of Michigan.
* CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
* Knowledgeable in nursing principles, practices, and protocols.
* Strong oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively assess patients during limited phone conversations.
* Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
* Accurate and professional oral and written communication skills.
* Passionate about working with underserved populations.
* Proficient in computer skills, including EHR software programs.
