Who we are:

Upshur Bren Psychology Group is an intimate, boutique psychology practice, with a focus on providing high-quality treatment to families at all points on the developmental timeline. We provide therapeutic services as well as consultations and wrap-around services (e.g. parent coaching, home visits, play therapy, etc). We work with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families. We also specialize in helping new and expecting parents transition into parenthood with parent-infant support as well as treatment for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. All of our services are offered as a hybrid model, offering telehealth using HIPAA-compliant video as well as in-person sessions in our offices in Pelham, NY.

We are a women/mother-led group, and we pride ourselves in fostering a warm, supportive, team-oriented environment that values collaboration and work-life balance. To that end, we are committed to creating a flexible, family-friendly workplace with many opportunities for growth and creativity. We deeply value our relationships with the families in our community, and we have become a trusted and respected practice in the Lower Westchester area.

Our training program is led by licensed psychologists with extensive experience training and supervising pre-licensure clinicians in a variety of settings, from hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, outpatient clinics, residential facilities, college counseling programs, and academic medical centers. With specialized training in trauma-informed care, DBT, child-focused interventions, infant and early childhood development, parenting support, and maternal mental health, trainees will have the unique opportunity to develop skills in supporting individuals, as well as all members of a family system, through a wide range of presenting issues.
