Summary: The Clinical Quality and Training Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and enhancement of quality, safety, and compliance programs at Ambitrans Ambulance. This role includes designing and implementing training programs, overseeing new hire orientation, and fostering career development. The supervisor will develop the organizational training strategy, assess its effectiveness, and identify training needs to drive initiatives that promote employee loyalty and clinical excellence.
Key responsibilities include analyzing data, creating reports, conducting individual case reviews, and investigating clinical and safety incidents. The supervisor will manage employee certifications, ensure all field personnel maintain valid credentials, oversee QA staff and procedures, and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual. This role fosters a culture of continuous improvement, assisting in implementing practices that enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

- Conduct case reviews to evaluate protocol compliance and recommend quality improvement methodologies.
- Ensure Patient Care Report (PCR) documentation meets Ambitrans standards.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and leadership to implement clinical improvements.
- Assess training needs through job analysis and performance evaluations.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver classroom instruction and hands-on training for new hires and ongoing education, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and protocols.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and report on outcomes.
- Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.
- Develop testing and evaluation processes for training programs.
- Provide various training formats, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and workshops.
- Analyze and report on key Quality Metrics performance, including dashboards and scorecards.
- Supervise new hires through their training process and coordinate orientation sessions.
- Maintain and update training materials and medical protocols.
- Lead the Field Training Officer Program and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
- Run reports on clinical quality, success rates, and operational activities.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Florida EMT or Paramedic certification.
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS instructor credentials (or ability to acquire).
- A minimum of two years of field EMT experience.
- Bachelors degree in education, business, healthcare, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience as an Advanced Life Support provider.
- Experience in managing QA/QI and compliance programs.
- Background in program development and adult education in the medical field.
- Additional instructor certifications (e.g., AMLS, PEPP, PHTLS).
- Nationally Registered Paramedic with recertification experience.
