Your story. Our mission. A perfect match. You have a place at OhioGuidestone, the state's leader in behavioral health! We are seeking a Clinical Quality & Compliance Specialist. This role will be located in our administrative offices of Berea, OH. Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone and work with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
  • Conduct regular clinical audits to assess compliance with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and best practice standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, compliance status, and quality improvement initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to close quality gaps in the provision of clinical care utilizing audits, reports, surveys or reportable incidents.
  • Work collaboratively with Performance and Quality Improvement teams to identify, test, and implement strategies for closing identified quality gaps.
  • Work with process improvement committee members to develop new support material based on revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements.
  • Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to review and update operational procedures and policies. Ensure that clinical documentation aligns with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement and test action plans for enhancing staff skills in core clinical competencies and compliance with policy and procedures.
  • Lead investigations related to client rights concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to concerns of youth in foster care, and intermittently filling in for the Client Rights Officer with other clients as needed.
  • Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new or shared responsibilities as requested or required
  • Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and present the agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contact
Education & Experience:
  • Current licensure as a LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, LPC or LPCC in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical quality assurance, compliance, or a related field in a behavioral health setting.

  • Strong organizational skills: able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently.
  • Ability to use data to inform the scope of problems and the impact of solutions
  • Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required.
  • Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records, etc.
  • Ability to access agency buildings and facilities with multiple levels and may require walking, and standing, use of elevators and stairways.
  • Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
  • Successfully meet pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment background requirements
