Clinical Research Associate - NESCO Resource : Job Details

A major Medical Facility in Jamaica, NY seeks a Clinical Research Associate. This is a full-time position and is onsite 5 days a week. There will be occasional travel to Flushing, NY.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Perform all aspects of multi-center clinical trial coordination, including working with the Institutional Review Board and industry sponsors to ensure compliance with federal guidelines and policies for conducting clinical trials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Learns and understands protocol-specific procedures.
• Work with patients, physicians, and other services
• Work with industry sponsors
• Coordinate IRB submissions for research projects
• Mentor other members
• Coordinate submissions of abstracts and design posters for conference presentation
• Review and summarize scientific literature

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelors Degree Required: Master, RN o MBBS preferred.
• CCRC preferred
• At least 2 years of research trial coordination experience is required (oncology, cardiology, pulmonary, and critical care experience preferred).

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong written and oral communication skills with a background in medicine/ or biomedical science.
• Publication experience is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

***Medical knowledge, specifically in Cardiology, Oncology, Pulmonary, and Critical Care highly desirable.
