In this role you will work in the chemical field in the cosmetics and personal care products industry (hair, skin and sun care products) including gels, creams, locations, serums, beach products, sunscreen, sticks, sprays, and balms. Experience and proficiency in research and analysis and following established protocols is preferred. Must be a people person as you will be expected to interface with test subjects.Responsibilities:Conduct clinical trials using instrumentation and imaging tools as specified by the study protocol under the supervision of designated Principal Investigator/senior team leaders.Accurately record observations, measurements, and test results.Provide a professional and comfortable experience to all test subjects, and answer all inquiries, as appropriate.Assist in the preparation of test materials (sample blinding, randomization)Perform data entry and data review under the supervision of senior investigators to ensure study qualityAdhere to all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistencyMust have a passion for data analysis and general knowledge of statistics as it relates to understanding consumer and product performance.Experience with cosmetics, skin care and personal care products preferredJob RequirementsDetails: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize daily tasks for multiple projects/activities.Cosmetologists or Dermatology Estheticians will also be consideredDetail-oriented with demonstrated sensory acuity.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in an inter-disciplinary and cross-functional team.Understanding of general cosmetic technology as well as general formulation techniques.Knowledge of general lab equipment and testing tools such as pH meter, Brookfield Viscometer, stand mixers, Silverson homogenizers is desired.Familiarity with chemical laboratory equipment and procedures. Bachelor's degree in Psychological Research, Chemistry, Science, Biology, Chemical engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Recent graduates with limited experience is okay as long as they have the degree.Must have good problem solving, decision making, and organization skills and ability to work well in a team environment Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
