The Clinical Specialist position was developed to primarily support driving the utilization of surgical products in customer accounts to achieve company goals and support clinical end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical case coverage as assigned
- Support sales and marketing initiatives
- Trains the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and verbally supports cases during training period
- Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational and clinical resource.
- Demonstrate appropriate interactions with all healthcare providers.
- Maintain and prepare equipment/kits for surgery and quality control audits
- Ability to travel up to 70% in assigned geography in North America (Primarily supporting the greater NYC market)
Education/Experience
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in marketing, business, biology, or engineering.
- 2 to 3 years of practical experience working in a hospital operating room and MRI department and a background in training and support of medical devices.
- Knowledge of planning and navigation software, stereotactic neurosurgery, and MRI diagnostic software. Experience with stereotactic applications utilizing three-dimensional image-guided surgery for brain biopsies, stimulation, ablation, and MRI is a plus.
