Clinical Supervisor JOB TITLE: Clinical SupervisorFLSA Status: ExemptDEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Hope of the HorizonSUPERVISOR: Director of Community Crisis DiversionPAY GRADE: 83 [ salary range: $58,458.40 to 76,713 commensurate with education and experience ]JOB SUMMARY:Under the general direction of the Director of Community Crisis Diversion, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervision of delivery of services to youth clients in Hope on the Horizon. The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to therapists located at Hope Place. And may carry a caseload from time to time. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordination and collaboration with Hope Place staff to maintain delivery of high quality treatment services as well as productivity standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversees service delivery for the youth at Hope Place and Peer support services.
  • Evaluates staff performance in regards to job related responsibilities.
  • Addresses and monitors performance improvement plans.
  • Monitors staff adherence to program/Agency standards (documentation, clinical records, policies, etc.)
  • Participates in and supports continuous quality improvement in the Program, Department and Agency.
  • Coordinates and monitors completion of all required Program reports
  • Recruits and hires new employees as needed with attention to diversity succession planning and utilizing and inclusive process.
  • Provides supervision, direction, coaching, mentoring and opportunities for professional development of direct reports and assures the same for the staff.
  • Assures consistent application of agency personnel policies and hiring practices
  • Reviews on- boarding surveys and adjusts practice towards quality improvement.
  • Demonstrates, promotes and practices diversity, equity and inclusion in relation to clients and staff through respect and understanding achieved through training, individual supervision and Agency cultural activities.
  • Recognizes and embraces the diversity of every youth and family we serve.
  • Identifies service gaps and advocates and coordinates with community providers.
  • Participates in the ongoing development of clinical services through models such as Sanctuary, Seven Challenges, Motivational interviewing, CF-CBT, FIT.
  • Provides individual and group clinical supervision, mentoring coaching and on-going training to all therapists.
  • Assists in planning and coordinating monthly trainings for all Hope Place staff.
  • Assists staff in planning for client activities and needs as well as staff development needs within the budgeted allocations
  • Monitors productivity requirements for clinic budgets, no shows and cancelations
  • Assists in ensuring clinic meets established productivity standards and works with clinicians to determine what prevents the clinician from making productivity, and the development and monitoring of a plan
  • Reviews and signs off on treatment plans, treatment plan reviews and case conferences presented at treatment team meetings.
  • Provides direct care services to clients of the clinic.
  • This position carries out all responsibilities with fidelity and accountability to the Agency's Mission, Vision, Sanctuary Commitments, and Strategic Plan.
  • Exercises full compliance with the Agency's Code of Conduct, all Agency Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security for all client and staff related materials and/or records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
  • Master's degree in human services required, licensure required: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT. LCSW preferred.
Experience:
  • One year supervisory experience and two to three years' experience in mental health and/or substance use disorders treatment.
  • Strong clinical background and experience relating DSM-5 diagnosis, various EBPs and other clinical topics.
  • Community based services, outpatient clinic and/or integrated treatment experience a plus.
  • Background and experience in working with diverse populations.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for impact and results.
Skills:
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook; working knowledge of other relevant computer software.
