Unlock your potential at Colleton Medical Center!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Resource Nurse supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Resource Nurse supports multiple units. The Resource Nurse provides guidance and education on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.What you will do in this role:* Performs rounds on each nursing unit.* Observes and assesses the quality of patient care being delivered.* Identify nursing educational needs.* Escalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate.* Ensure that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practice.What qualifications you will need:* Bachelors in Nursing is required* Currently RN License in good standing in SC* 2 plus years of RN experience is required* Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire* Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire* Neonate Resuscitate within 12 months* NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days* Crisis Prevention Intervention within 90 days* PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support within 12 months* Preceptor Training within 90 daysColleton Medical Center provides quality healthcare services, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology for more than 50 years.
