Job Summary:
This position functions as a part of the Texas Child Health Through Telemedicine, (TCHATT) team. The TCHATT Clinical Team Lead will work on a multidisciplinary team and communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as school counselors and nurses.
This position will supervise assigned clinical staff, primarily masters level licensed therapists, as delegated by the direct supervisor to ensure clinical staff are practicing within the guidelines of the TCHATT program and quality clinical care is provided. The Clinical Team Lead will provide assessment, short term treatment, and referral services to children, adolescents, and families as referred to the TCHATT program. Position will carry a reduced case load to accommodate supervisory duties. This position may also provide education to school staff on utilization of the TCHATT program.
Major Responsibilities / Duties / Critical Tasks:
* Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and participate in case staffing.
* Supervises assigned clinical staff as delegated by the direct supervisor.
* Ensure patient assessments are completed in a timely manner and level of care is based on clinical need utilizing the approved assessment process.
* Will be responsible for clinical oversight and compliance with all applicable standards and as well as team productivity.
* Assist with onboarding new employees.
* Efficiently and effectively interact with team members, internal and external partners to accomplish essential tasks.
* Create and conduct presentations in the community and schools to increase knowledge/awareness of both behavioral and emotional stressors and symptoms.
* Provide assessment and evidence-based therapies to elementary through high school ages through telemedicine.
* Be effective in documentation procedures.
* Perform other related duties incidental to the work described, such as attending trainings and regular team meetings.
* Use excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Handle confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion and adherence to HIPAA rules.
* Other duties as assigned.
Accompanying Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
* Competent to provide services to children and adolescents.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
Required Education / Experience:
* Maintain current Texas licensure with scope of practice that encompasses group, individual/family therapy
* Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor Status or equivalent supervisory experience
* Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families.
