*JOB DESCRIPTION*POSITION/TITLE: Primary Therapist\*\*\*2 months of PAID TIME OFF\*\*\* New Focus Academy, located in Heber City, Utah, provides a safe treatment residence and academic setting for students with neurodiversity, with many of them being on the Autism Spectrum. This wonderful group of misunderstood adolescents requires an understanding of unique minds and the functional and emotional complications they struggle with while adapting to the world. As a therapist you will be doing individual therapy, but this is often broken into multiple short sessions to allow for greater contact across the week. Family therapy happens weekly to allow students and families to work on healthy skills and positive interactions. Our therapists will have a caseload of approximately 7 to 11 students (anything over 8 students results in bonus pay) to allow them to be involved in providing teaching and learning to staff members, be part of treatment team meetings, create treatment plans that help direct how to best help the student. Therapists also run one to two group therapy sessions a week. Due to term breaks where minimal on site work is required there are opportunities for ample amounts of paid time off, on top of typical PTO, so long as all work is completed.Unlicensed therapists are happily welcome apply, rate will be a bit lower due to supervision provided for free. Licensed therapists from other states will start at competitive rate, but must work immediately on getting licensed.BENEFITS* Health Insurance* Two Months PTO* 401(k)* Flexible Schedule (Four 10-hr OR Five 8-hr )* Relocation Assistance* Professional Development AssistanceQUALIFICATIONSEducation:* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, CMHC, or related field.* Must be licensed by the State of Utah, or be in the process of obtaining a license as a new therapist or a therapist from another state.Training and Experience:* Clear training and support in providing individual and family therapy.* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Must have at least intermediate level computer skills.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITIONResponsible for all primary therapist duties and responsibilities for a caseload of up to ten (10) Students on assigned treatment team and up to two additional independent group therapy sessions weekly.Specific clinical responsibilities for each case assigned including but not limited to the following:Initial treatment assessments and formulations (interviews with students, parents and significant others to obtain data on the patient's personal, social, developmental, and emotional history; timely completion of the Treatment Plan, clinical therapy notes, and other required documentation).Therapy delivery (individual, family and group therapy weekly).Case Management (treatment interventions, therapeutic visits, case coordination with other disciplines, etc.).Communication with clients (Referral sources, parents/guardians, school officials, etc.).Timeliness of all necessary documentation (session progress notes, contact calls, monthly summaries, discharge summaries, special notes, orders, etc.).Participation in the implementation of all clinical aspects of the New Focus Academy.Completes all necessary documentation in the medical record, including monthly summaries, discharge summaries, therapy session notes, special notes and contact calls in a timely thorough and professional manner.Work Location:* Multiple locationsWork Remotely* NoJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Relocation assistance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Day shiftWork Location: In person
