Description$500 Sign on Bonus!One (1) Full-time (40 hours/week) opportunity as a Clinician Trainee or Clinician I/II in our Intensive Community Support team. The Intensive Community Support treatment team serves children, youth and transitional age youth 0 to 21 years of age, diagnosed with a mental health disorder. The services provided include individual, family, collateral, group and case management in family homes, community, and school settings as well as in the office. Clinician trainee work is reviewed and cosigned by LPHA. The clinician/clinician trainee works collaboratively with members of the treatment team.Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am to 6:00 pmQualifications:Clinician- Graduation from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).Clinician Trainee-Master of Arts or Master of Science degree in progress from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required. One year of experience in a treatment setting preferred.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.BBS registration, licenses, credentials or like certifications must remain active and valid with their governing entity, if applicable.A valid California driver's license with less than two minor moving violations is required of staff who have driving duties to meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency's insurance company.Essential Job Functions:Ability to communicate ideas in oral and written form.Computer skills including Microsoft Office.Ability to instruct in group and individual settings.Physical, mental and emotional health adequate to perform duties.Must possess knowledge of mental health programs and community resources.Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards.Ability to work effectively with cultural/ethnic diversity.Ability to work at various locations, including client homes, schools, and community settings.Sound personal qualifications (i.e., maturity, stability, high moral standards, and sound mental health and physical ability to perform job duties).Responsibilities:Provide direct clinical services to clients.Provide assessment and treatment planning for clients.Provide group, individual, family, and collateral clinical services for clients.Provide school consultation when appropriate.Keep comprehensive clinical records that meet standards of the agency, The Joint Commission and contract.Collaborate with the referring agency or other community agencies working with the client to coordinate treatment.Collect outcome data, including consumer satisfaction surveys, as required by the agency and contract.Must implement program goals and objectives to meet and maintain contractual requirements and productivity.Participate in monthly peer review.Attend trainings.Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.Provide 4-12 client contacts monthly to a caseload of 30 clients.Adhere to Medi-Cal and Behavioral Health and Recovery Services timelines.Effectively navigate and utilize the electronic health record (EHR).Meet monthly productivity expectations of 80 hours per month.Utilize LOCUS and Child Adolescent Needs and Strengths tool for treatment planning.Participate in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings.
