These seminars are designed to assist with competencies needed for your license. Topics include Diagnosing, Ethics and Boundaries, Clinical Considerations, Substance Use Disorder Treatment to name a few. These seminars are facilitated by seasoned clinicians. In addition, BSCS offers extensive training in Evidence Based Practice including Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Services, and Substance Use Disorder Treatments. At BSCS we are committed to developing you in becoming a well-trained and skilled clinician. As part of this position, you have access to the weekly Professional Development Seminars facilitated by seasoned clinicians in small cohort groups that offer intensive training on diagnostic criteria, evidence-based practices, trauma and much more. This training series is designed to prepare you for the LMHC and LICSW licensing test. Requirements Must posses a Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy or have a certification in addiction services Experience conducting intake assessments Experience facilitating psychoeducational group meetings Ability to work with court mandated clientsComputer proficiency, strong organizational skills, and communication skills Bay State Community Services is an equal opportunity employer.
