Position Summary The Closing Operations Admin is primarily responsible for auditing all wire requests for loan closings to ensure compliance with industry and company requirements. The Closing Operations Admin will be secondarily responsible for supporting the Jr. Loan Closer and Loan funder if necessary, or any other work as directed by the Closing Manager. Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage assigned workload to ensure that turn times are met and are within SLA's
- Audit file and work with the Closer, Funder or Branch to resolve all discrepancies.
- Interface with management on files to prioritize
- Ensure that each file goes through the same processes and all files meet compliance guidelines
- Work with leadership on implementing and enforcing strategic initiatives
- Anything else as assigned by Leadership.
QualificationsExperience
- Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Effective oral and written communication skills to work with Internal staff, clients, and vendors
- Professional etiquette and appearance
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly in fast-paced high work volume
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
- Flexibility to help assist with new task and office change
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi- task and prioritize work
- Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a background check
- Some college preferred but not necessary
- 0 - 2 years recent experience in a mortgage operations department
