Join the Mizuho team as a Cloud Architect!We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our Cloud Architecture and Governance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, governance, policies, and security best practices. They will play a crucial role in ensuring our Azure cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with business goals.Key Responsibilities:
Design robust Azure cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Develop and enforce Azure cloud governance policies and practices, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and security requirements.
Collaborate with partner teams such as Cloud Engineering, Data, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to understand business needs and deliver secure and effective Azure solutions.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Azure cloud governance and security, recommending new approaches to enhance our cloud offerings.
Support and oversee the migration of existing applications and infrastructure to Azure, focusing on governance and security aspects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on governance and security.
Strong understanding of Azure security and governance principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$175k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.#LI-Hybrid
