Job Title: GCP Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (No Visa sponsorship/transfer or C2C allowed)

Location: New York, NY (Only candidates Local to NY or NJ Allowed)

Duration: 12+ months

Job Type: Contract and w2 only

Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Cloud infrastructure engineering experience with a focus on Google Cloud engineering.
• At least 2 years building cloud native containerized solutions – GCP or AWS.
• Must have proven experience of delivering something to production use.
• Hands-on with Terraform.
• Strong in Python, writing scripts to support automated solutions.
• Strong Linux, Docker & Cloud networking.
• Understanding of Google Cloud storage.
• Proficient in Terraform, Python and Go language.
• Good understanding of Test-Driven Design.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems.
• Ability to work within a team and show up consistently.

What You Will Be Doing

• Designs, deploys, maintains, upgrades and secures network with all software components.
• Engage with senior stakeholders as well as application developers throughout the full development life-cycle: from inception and design to deployment, operation, and iterative development.
