We are expanding our Cloud Operations Team and are seeking a technically proficient Cloud Scrum Master with knowledge in cloud cost management (AWS and/or Azure). We are in the process of adopting Agile methodology across our Cloud Operations team to drive improvement projects more efficiently. This shift allows us to respond more flexibly in planning and managing our cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives and, importantly, optimizing costs. As a key member of our team, the Cloud Scrum Master will focus on the following key areas: Set and Facilitation of Agile Ceremonies
- Lead Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners and architects, to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement within our processes and optimize the value we deliver.
Project Planning and Management
- Plan, execute, and manage cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives using Agile methodologies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with efficient resource allocation, adapting plans as necessary to evolving business needs.
Cloud Infrastructure Simplification
- Identify and drive opportunities to simplify and streamline cloud infrastructure by leveraging automation, reusable cloud components, and best practices to enhance scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Cost Reporting and Analysis
- Regularly monitor cloud spending, analyze usage patterns, and generate actionable reports.
- Collaborate with the Director of Cloud Operations to develop and execute cost-saving initiatives, ensuring ongoing cost optimization across AWS and/or Azure environments.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, Agile practices, and cost management strategies.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve cloud operations and service delivery.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team to enhance performance and adaptability.
Cross-team Collaboration
- Work closely with product owners, architects, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and delivery timelines, facilitating open communication and problem-solving
Preferred Experience & Technical Skills
- 5 years of related experience
- Cloud cost management tools: AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management.
- Database: PostgreSQL Microsoft SQL Server
- Scripting: Python, Java, Bash, .NET/C#, PowerShell
- Agile: experience managing cloud infrastructure optimization projects using Agile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong project management and cost optimization abilities.
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered

- Knowledge of Supply Chain or Label Printing is a plus, but not required for this position.
