Job Description:

We are seeking two Cloud Security Engineers with strong AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Prisma Cloud experience for a 9-month contract with potential for temp-to-hire. This role will focus on securing cloud environments, working within the Prisma Cloud ecosystem, and collaborating with DevOps teams to enhance automation and cloud security strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary contact and owner of Prisma Cloud (CSPM & CWP) within the public cloud ecosystem.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate security into pipelines and workflows.
• Develop and fine-tune runtime security policies and ensure proper alerting through ServiceNow VR.
• Secure and optimize containerized applications in EKS (AWS) and AKS (Azure) environments.
• Assist with custom tool development for integrating Prisma Defenders into Kubernetes clusters.
• Contribute to cloud security automation efforts using:
• Python
• Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation (Cfn)
• API integrations
• Conduct analysis and evaluation of CNAPP and other cloud security tooling.
• Support incident response, compliance initiatives, and strategic security planning.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Security Engineer.
• Must-have: Experience with Prisma Cloud (CSPM & CWP).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS & AKS) and container security.
• Proficiency with DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, RedHat).
• Automation experience with Python, Terraform, ARM, and CloudFormation.
• Comfortable working with APIs for integrations.
• Cloud security certifications preferred (AWS Security, AZ-500, or similar).
• Eastern Time Zone preferred (team is distributed nationwide, but this role is onsite 3 days per week in Connecticut).
• Someone who is well-rounded and can contribute to strategy, troubleshooting, and automation—not just coding full-time.
