JOB DESCRIPTION

School Year 2024-2025

Job Title: AUL Club Advisor/ Video Gaming Stipend

Stipend Amount: $500.00

Schedule of Payment: Semi-Annual - January and June

Reports to: Middle School Administrator (7th and 8th Grade), Principal ( 9th-12th Grade)

Position Purpose: Class advisors work with an assigned AULCS grade cohort to organize class activities throughout the school year. Advisors are responsible for ensuring that all class activities are completed in a timely and thorough manner that complies with all school policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Organize and facilitate three grade-level assemblies in collaboration with administrators

Assist students in developing class goals and objectives for the year

Sponsor class fundraising activities; oversees record-keeping of transactions

Assist in development of budget aligned to class goals

Collaborate on the creation of student and family feedback surveys

Communicate with parents via email or letters sent home

Provide appropriate notice of proposed events to school administrators and the Board of Trustees

Work with class officers to promote school spirit and high levels of student engagement

Oversee logistics for class trips and other off-campus activities

Meet regularly with class officers to plan activities and monitor progress towards goals

Meet regularly with school administrators to communicate class needs and progress
