The CMM Operator documents and reports non-conforming part geometry and dimensions and performs in-process/final inspections. Duties and Responsibilities: Use engineered drawings to create programs and operate CMM equipment to measure parts per engineering specifications; Determine quality (pass/fail) of manufactured parts based on dimensional inspection; Complete and maintain detailed and accurate dimensional inspection reports and analysis of inspection data; Maintain quality standards using acceptable housekeeping practices and 5s processes on equipment and work area; Be responsible for the operation and upkeep of all the measuring equipment, including calibration;Interested in hearing more?
