KVC Missouri - Residential Treatment FacilityLocation: Columbia, MOCompensation: $16.00-$19.00 per hourSchedule: This is primarily a weekend positon, Saturday & Sunday, 8-hr shifts. Weekdays as needed BHT assisting with ADL's and medication adminstration.Job SummaryCNA-Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) (while working directly under a nurse's supervision) provide compassionate care to and supervision of children and young adults by working closely with nursing and residential staff. CNA-BHT's are responsible for supervising clients and ensuring their basic needs are being met. They assist clients through completion of ADL's, daily activities and responsibilities by modeling positive behavior and effective problem-solving techniques. CNA-BHT's are responsible for adhering to the Employee Manual, Operations Manual and organizational policies and procedures in completing job responsibilities.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited high school Licensure/Certification: Valid Missouri CNA certification. Valid driver's license and auto insurance.Experience:
  • Experience working with children, young adults, and families in a behavioral health setting or related field.
  • Focus on serving individuals through trauma-informed and person-centered approaches.
  • Experience with carrying out treatment interventions.
  • Support for activities of daily living.
  • Aid in social-emotional skill building with individuals or groups.
