National Home HealthCare Inc -RESPONSIBILITIES- Help clients take prescribed medication- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene- Help clients with physical therapy exercises- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the Dietary Manager- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own- Be a pleasant and supportive companion.QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum of a High School Diploma required- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver required (CNA/HHA/PCA/RA/NAR)- Experience in an Assisted Living preferred- Ability to pass a background check with MN Department of Health and Human Services.- Reliable transportation to and from work.- Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language adequately to respond to individual's needs.- Ability to see and hear to communicate effectively.- Ability to lift to 50-75 pounds, which includes transferring individuals.- Ability to perform delegated nursing tasks as assigned.- Ability to respond to emergencies in accordance with procedures and guidelines.- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, reach, push and pull.
